Depending on how confident and fit a cyclist you are, there are a range of destinations that can be accessed by bike from Fairfield Meadows.
You can be in the centre of Stotfold in less than 10 minutes, and a journey to Letchworth Garden City takes less than 20 minutes.
Alternatively, if you fancy a slightly longer bike ride, you can be in Hitchin town centre in less than 30 minutes. The majority of the route is traffic free via the Icknield Way – don’t worry about getting lost though, Icknield Way is signposted and connects with Arlesey Road in Ickleford. From there, it’s just a 10-minute ride into the centre of Hitchin via residential roads.
National Cycle Network (NCN) Route 12 runs through the centre of Stotfold, with various links close to your new home.
